Can you tell me more about your Travel Planning Services?

Ruba’s Travel Planning is a concept travel that came up because of my passion for designing unique travel itineraries for myself and I thought why not share my passion for travel planning with others and helping people explore hidden gems and experiencing authentic travels through curating unique travel itineraries.

Which Countries do you cover in your Travel Planning Services?

I cover 4 countries that I have explored thoroughly and/or lived in for a while. Those countries are Jordan where I lived for 24 years, the United Kingdom where I lived for 8 years, Italy where it is my home nowadays, and Indonesia where I lived there for 5 months travelling around its islands.

Why Should I Choose Your Travel Planning Services & what makes your Travel Planning different than others?

 If you are following my journey on my Instagram TravelwithRuba, you will find that my way of travelling is unique and different. You will find me sipping a nice wine by a nice beach club on the Italian Riviera or you will find me walking down narrow streets in medieval towns and trying small trattorias that are tucked away from the tourist traps, you will also find me doing adventures such as paragliding in the Dolomites Mountains, or water rafting in the Welsh Rivers, my journeys are pretty much unique and well searched and most importantly it leaves a long-lasting memories stamp.

I understand your concerns, as the market is full of other travel bloggers and travel planning services. What differentiates me from others, is my love to meet new people and ensure people are happy whenever I recommend a restaurant or a hotel, or a place! You can call me a People Pleaser!

• Travelling Knowledge: I worked in the travel industry, such as Tourism Boards and Premium Airlines for over 6 years during y corporate career that enabled me to know a lot about travel hacks and actually travel the world! For Example, the best time to book your flights for the rest of the year is either on the 1^st of January or the period between the 15^th and 31^st of January every year, try it out and let me know your experience in the comments below!!
• Attention to Details & Organised: I worked in the Human Resources field before pursuing Travel Blogging services for 16 long years! The skills I packed from working in this field are paying attention to details, being super organised, being very good at Google Search, and scrolling through reviews!
• Flexible and Excellent Communicator: Travelled to over 33 countries and took endless flights, in 2015 alone I took 50 flights alone, travelling through South America, North America, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and The Middle East. I stayed in over +500 stays over the year, using a mix of Airbnb, Booking.com, and Skyscanner!
• Good Listener and Multi-tasker: I organised events and planned travels for my friends and family for the past 14 years and yes I organised family weddings, farewells, travelling to unique destinations, and honeymoons. How to Book your Desired Package?

• The first step is to identify and choose which country of the 4 countries you want to visit (Italy, the UK, Indonesia, or Jordan).

• The second step is to choose your desired package whether it is Quick Break Package or Slow Traveller Package.

• The Third Step is to book your one-to-one 60-minute appointment virtual call with me! In this call, Assessment call, where I will ask you questions about your personality, your passions, and travel preferences to get to know you more and understand your travelling budget and preferred dates/ seasons of travelling.

• The fourth step, after our one-to-one call, is to start the travel research on your behalf based on what we discussed on the call.

• The fifth step is to draft the first Itinerary proposal within 5 working days from our initial call and send it to you by email (or the agreed communication style).

• The Sixth step is to collect your feedback and if you need any tweaks or changes on the itinerary, I will tweak them to suit your needs.

• Final step, you Book your Trip based on the recommendations I sent and enjoy creating wonderful memories!

What is included in your Travelling Planning Services Packages?

In both packages, the following services are included:

• Initial Assessment call up to 60 minutes.

• Email/ WhatsApp communication throughout the process – Maintaining close communication is key during this process, but do not worry, I will not bombard you with tons of messages!

• Initial version of the Itinerary and 2 other modified versions if needed some tweaks from your side.

• I design itineraries only for couples, small groups of friends, and/or solo travellers. I love children, however, due to safety and high responsibility when children are involved, I won’t be able to provide Travelling Planning Services for families with children.

• The itineraries I propose are not meant to serve very restrictive travelling budgets, i.e., staying in hostels. The travelling experiences and itineraries I offer are made to ensure your comfort is attended to and you are enjoying your travelling experience without splurging too much yet not too tight! Those itineraries are for those who want comfort in their travel and affordability, and I can work on Luxury travels as well.

• Delivery time and project closure will be 5 working days, therefore, your cooperation and timely response to my emails/ messages is highly valued.

• Clickable links to the booking pages within the itinerary, so you do NOT have to navigate through the pages looking after the booking pages.

What is not included in your Travelling Planning Services Packages?

There is a limit to where my travel services start and stop and the following are the exclusions:

• Family travelling and very restrictive budget travelling are not services I would offer.

• Travelling destination itineraries outside my expertise areas are not offered in my services.

• Booking flights tickets, accommodation, restaurants, excursions, and experiences are not offered with my services, my services are not classed as a travelling agency, my travelling planning services are to save your precious time to look and search for destinations and best places to sleep, eat and do things, you will still need to book all the trip via the links I provide directly to the booking pages of the selected proposals. Saying this, the itinerary I custom-made for you, has all the links for you to book, no need to search, just click, choose the dates, and book.

• From sending the first draft itinerary, I will count 1 week (7 days) from the time I sent the first draft, if you reply after the 7 days from sending the first draft, I won’t be able to amend your draft. Sticking to the timeframe is important for me and you, because of the other commitments I have with my clients and/or personal ones. Respecting the timeframe from both sides is essential.

Frequently Asking Questions (FAQs) and General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs):

Q1: I am confused, I thought you said it is a travel itinerary, but I see links to accommodation, flights, and activities, am I supposed to book everything by myself?

My personalised itineraries offer wonderful guidance and suggestions with bookable links to my top choices of accommodation, transportation, flights, activities, and else. In my itineraries, I have completed the trip planning and research for you, all you need to do is click on those links and book according to your preference, dates, and availability. I have limited the options to up to 3 vendors to save you time.

Q2: Why do I need to purchase your services? I can plan trips by myself.

My travel itineraries provide authentic and unique traveling experiences. From the activities to the accommodation choices, I selected and reviewed, everything in my itineraries is very carefully curated for a memorable traveling experience.

My itineraries will help you book your dream trip without the hustle of the research and planning associated when booking a trip, it will save you time and allow you to focus on the happy travel experience and take away all the admin bits from you.

Q3: How can I trust your choices given I never met you, especially when it comes to accommodation, I am very picky when it comes to my sleep, and I love to stay in ultra-clean accommodation. I enjoy easy access to city centres, how can I ensure you are providing all the above?

Believe it or not, I am a very fussy and picky traveller too! I don’t enjoy sharing facilities with others, I have an obsessive cleaning disorder (OCD), so clean rooms, and accommodation are super important to me. My travelling style is more about comfortable travelling and staying in spacious rooms with good Wi-Fi connections. I like my food to be simple yet tasty. Etc. If you are like me, then look no further and grab those itineraries now, because I guarantee that you will be pleased with the choices, I listed for you.

 Also, to give you more comfort, the links I listed in the itineraries are all well-researched, personally, I don’t stay in accommodations that are less than 9 out of 10 rated and this is what I am recommending for you.

Q4: What if the dates I wanted to travel were fully booked, what I do in this case?

I am offering at least 2 options of links available for you to choose from and up to 3 options. However, if all links you tried and your dates are sold out, it is likely because the options I listed are popular and therefore I would suggest planning your trip at least 2 months in advance for winter escapes and 4-5 months in advance for summer escapes. For example, in Italy, summertime is the busiest time to travel to and most of the places will be sold/booked out 3 months in advance, hope this helps in planning your future trips.

Q5: What if I want to travel for more than 4 weeks and I want help in designing my trips?

Q6: I didn’t enjoy the itinerary and I expected more, how can I get a refund?

I am sorry to learn that the itinerary didn’t meet your expectations, and I will appreciate your feedback to improve my products and my services, therefore, please email me at office@travelwithruba.com with your concerns and what your expectations, and I will do my best to ensure your satisfaction and being happy of what I offer.

However, for any returns/refunds, because you already purchased the services, I am afraid I won’t be able to process any refunds on this occasion, but as I mentioned above, your comments and feedback will be taken seriously, and I will try to make it up if you have a specific need that I can help with.

Q7: Do you provide travel insurance with the travel itineraries?

I am afraid my services are only guidance and consultation services; I do not offer any travel insurance in my services.

Q8: Do you offer itineraries to destinations you never travelled to?

As much as I want to help you with your travel planning, my expertise is travelling within Italy, the UK, Indonesia, and Jordan. I don’t want to step into an area that is not my arena to guarantee your travels are enjoyable and that my services are trustworthy.
